CHINA TOWN RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Ortaca

Ok my experience was a one of and should be read as so.

Service was great hand wash as we entered staff wearing masks.

Led to out table and ordered drinks restaurant was quite for peak season. Covid and all.

So we ordered drinks which were fairly priced for the area.

We ordered food consisting of 4 mains and 3 sides.

Now where this restaurant falls down in marks is the hour wait for the food.

One hour in a not busy restaurant. Was not offered an explanation or we are sorry for the wait.

When the food did arrive after 1hr 10 mins my daughter had to wait for another 10 mins for hers to arrive.

The food was well mine was tasty but clearly had been sat under the hot lamp to long.

My wife enjoyed her meal and so did my kids once it arrived.

Overall a solid 3 star if I go back I'll review it again.

I am sure this place on the right night would serve...

We are here twice during our stay as a family of 4 and the food and service were excellent!! The restaurant offers lifts to and from your accommodation if required and will always go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction.

I would like to add a personal thanks to the owner and staff for looking after my wife and son when they were on holiday in early July. Unfortunately my Son was ill while away and China town couldn’t have done any more in delivering meals to the hotel for my wife and son to eat while they didn’t feel up to going out. Thanks so much to you all, you are special people here in Dalyan and especially in China Town.

We came here for dinner and it was ok...the honey chilli beef I had was pretty bland and the special fried rice was relatively tasteless. I don’t think the ingredients are a great quality, which doesn’t help. The prawn crackers with sauces/oils were the best part of the meal.

My family had different naan breads which seemed to be the same plain naans with a sprinkling of coconut/garlic chunks, rather than the different types being properly incorporated. They said the curries were tasty though.

Also, the waiter we had was friendly but a bit forgetful and they started clearing away the table while we were still eating, which is pretty rude - so we skipped dessert to get away faster.

All in all - nice enough but there are better places in...
