Al Ghadeer Village — Local services in Al Layyan

Walls made of paper and feels like tent because whatever is outside will be inside! Heat, cold, rain, wind, storm, sand, noise from the truck road, etc. The windows are the lowest quality possible like anything else in these houses. The house is not insulated so in summer you pay $$$ and still feels warm inside.

The ACs break every month then the water heater then the water pump and that will keep you so busy that you won’t have time to think about your work or life as if you have a full time job here maintaining your house and dealing with the useless maintenance team as no one comes from Dubai to here to repair an AC! You end up paying whatever they says after 2 weeks of going without AC in your bedroom because you have no choice!

The water and electricity cuts without notice and if you call them, haha good luck! The answer is always; we will send the team and call you back… and you go Aroun the circle until you get lucky! When! Only god knows!

Gated communities in general across UAE do offer quite good residential compounds with services such as supermarkets, pharmacies, GYM and cafes. What makes it special is the sense of community, the good quality of services, the amazing urban design and above all the affordability of rentals units.
