Today just an hour ago I went to pick and parked the car in arrival. After paying in the pay station I threw the receipt with qr code but I took the payment receipt. While going out I didn't know the barrier opens with qr code receipt then I pressed the help button I told the situation and the guy was telling me scan the qr code and go. There was one African near the barrier I told him the same and he also said scan and go then one guy came out of the booth I told him and he also told me scan the receipt. I told them many times now I don't have qr code receipt I have payment receipt so check and open but repeatedly they told me only way is to scan qr code and then barrier will open as there is no other way and all three staff were very rude. I went back to pay station and found the receipt and went out. My question is what if I had teared the receipt and threw in dustbin or I had lost the receipt?? So is this how a person will be treated is this the help or support??? I had the payment receipt and they have the system they could see my payment status and open the barrier. Very illetrate and rude staff. No manners and adequate. Especially African I was talking to him and he ignored me. It's a shame for Dubai. Like this Dubai reputation will go down. Please teach them. We should help each other. I understand they must be tired because of weather or outside work but this...
Read moreTerminal 2: A compact arrival and departure lounge, the security is good and they screen you thoroughly. However, the waiting area for the connecting flights are really cramped up and overcrowded. I would say overcrowded to the point, some passengers are left standing with their hand luggage. The worst part from flydubai, is that if you buy anything from the duty-free, you still have to weigh it at the gates, just before you board the bus and if the weight is more, you will have to pay for extras! So be mindful of that, as most passengers were unaware of it, they learnt the hard way, to either to leave luggage back, or pay up!!! There are only two sets of washrooms, so it’s a huge cramp and long line waiting, and even though the staff are trying to maintain hygiene, it is a little cumbersome. There are not many restaurants, only one McDonald’s and KFC, so if you are averse to those, you’re left with an Indian counter which serves Roti and Channa. It is also overcrowded and securing a table is a mammoth task. Needs to expand a little for the influx of passengers, who override the space. However, for a budget airline and for limited resources, I guess you cannot complain. Flydubai is another review...
Read moreWell this is a pic clicked at Dubai DXB Airport, arrival at terminal 2 just after the trolleys are placed. I really loved this innovative of write up of pink and blue welcoming all to Dubai, the Calligraphy writing is amusingly attractive. For visitors, Secondly as you land down, a bus shuttle picks you and drops you at the dxb t2 from where you proceed for your immigration and then to give your country from where you came from that covid original report to be submitted. After that you proceed to get a fresh covid test done at the airport. Post that you collect your luggage. Just to let you know there are no bus shuttle but you can get taxi out there or a pick up from the concerned hotel you have a stayover. You will have wifi access thats absolutely at no cost. You may get a sim card from the airport if you need so they are placed right after one collects the luggage. You can't wait at the waiting area for a lot time so you may connect and plan accordingly of how you wish to exit. Well all I could say more is have a safe journey a wonderful stay and be safe. God Bless. Querries...
