Horrible experience on scan check. I put in same tray backpack, Apple Watch, iPhone, Bracelet and my necklace. While taking off necklace 2 ppl rushed in front of me, and I usually never take it off but this times I did as guy in front of me beeped so he had to take necklace off too. Even I removed all, I beeped on scan (weird, never happened before, even my necklace usually doesnāt beep) so had to go through it again. After I passed suddenly no necklace on the tray. I alarmed all security stuff immediately.They started behaving like what, where, are you sure⦠then even checking me and my backpack with that stripes fluid, whatever it is test. They behaved as nothing happenedā¦Luckily my next flight was in 4 hours so I had a plenty of time to search for it. Finally they saud theyāll check cam footage.. meanwhile again they were behaving as Iām crazy, as I forgot it somewhere else, checking and scanning my backpack again as it might be inside, even after philipino worker who was there when I put things in tray, confirmed remembering me taking off my necklace. They checked the cam footage and apparently noone touched my tray. Again they were asking me did I forget it elsewhere⦠I was like: Are you serious? On cam you can see me taking it off plus your worker confirmed seeing me taking it off and putting in tray. I went for cigarette nearby, came backā¦trying to push them to check more⦠everything⦠everywhere. It was Swarofski necklace which I was more emotionally attached then it was expensive or anything else. Suddenly one lady who I didnāt notice before came to me and said oh whatās that on the floor there⦠I looked and it was my necklace, laying on the floor⦠I said wow, congratulations⦠perfect! So someone took it and throw it there later as I wasnāt giving up⦠Was quite shocked to be honest thing like this to happen in Dubai. Later I read on internet it happens. I never thought it can happen, I heard earlier about things like this happening in Spain or USA⦠So take care, all valuable things put inside bag and donāt let them fool you and...
