⭐ Review for Starbucks – Dubai Airport Terminal 2

Today I visited the Starbucks at Terminal 2, Dubai International Airport, and ordered a Spanish Latte, carrot cake, and a bottle of water. I was planning to sit and enjoy my order, but was told that the dining area was closed for cleaning — even though the store was open and serving customers.

This doesn’t make sense. Dubai Airport operates 24x7, and so does this Starbucks. So why close the seating area at certain times for cleaning? If you’re offering service round the clock, then customers should be allowed to sit and eat at any time. Cleaning should happen in phases or alongside normal operations — not by making the seating area off-limits.

As a traveler, it was really inconvenient. I had to sit elsewhere in the terminal, balancing my coffee cup in one hand and cake in the other — trying to eat without even having a proper place to keep my items. It was frustrating and far from what I expect from a global brand like Starbucks.

Whether this branch is franchise-managed or company-run, this kind of experience is not acceptable, especially in an international airport. Starbucks, please reconsider how you’re managing customer comfort during cleaning hours. If you’re open 24x7, your seating...

I was rudely approach by the cashier I was just waiting for the board to open in her back so I can see what I will order but the cashier is irritated when I say I want coffee frap she just punch a coffe frap and did not ask anything it was a bit awkward so I just pass and pay , when I'm waiting for the barista she ask me you want cream or with sugar I said nobody ask if I need and she was also angry she directly said why are you so much upset.. well I was already irritated from the cashier then the cashier join and point out that it is my Gould for not asking with an angry tone also like ok I'm sorry it was my fault for making me feel like it is my firstime in sturbuck and all I want was just a coffee with less sugar , and still look at what I get a frapp but half of the bottom is coffee it's taste more like ice coffee than a frapp , kindly check your cctv if you guys think that was a right...

I recently visited Starbucks at Terminal 2 Departure Landside and had an amazing experience!

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a quick coffee break or catching up with friends.

The staff was friendly and efficient, and my order was prepared on time. I tried their seasonal Toffee Nut Latte, and it was absolutely delicious—smooth, sweet, and perfectly balanced with the rich toffee flavor.

I was also feeling hungry, and a staff member named Dulce kindly suggested the best Pistachio Kunafa Cookies. It was an unexpected treat, and I loved it! The sweet and nutty flavor combination was incredible. Highly recommend it!
