I really loved the mall. It's a perfect spot for introverts 😁👌🏽 Very spacious, clean, quiet.
Thankfully to Cityland Mall I was able to breathe and chill under AC after visiting super overcrowded Global village where it was extremely hot and hard to breathe.
As a walking distance would take about 20 min from the main entrance or gates next to India Pavillion and it was too hot, we decided to take a taxi.
We're lucky to visit a lovely VINTAGE FORM store. Impressed with a lux service👌🏽 and nice quality, variety of clothes, bags, accessories with affordable prices.
CARREFOUR and café in it, La Brioche cafe, BOWLING (Scorpion Club), LIFE pharmacy are open until 12 am!
We arrived at 9:20 pm, most of the shops and even cafes were already closed, though it was mentioned the mall is open until 10 pm..
I noticed that some of them have different timings (until 8, 10, 11pm) which is confusing..
Correct Working hours of stores, cafes, location are not mentioned on the website and the info is not updated!
⚠️ There's no WIFI in the mall, only in Carefour.
P. S.: it'd be awesome if you arrange bright directional signs, maps around Global village and on the way to the mall guiding people how to get there, from what gates it's closer with some clear map.
Also there are not enough directional signs in the mall, it was hard to find even the main entrance, it's like a maze and there was nobody to ask!
Maps "You're here" would be helpful.
It's located next to "Carnaval" Theme Park but even from there it shows it'll take 20 min walking because you need to walk from the main entrance or gates next to "India".
It's a strange planning, definitely there should be additional gates in Global village close to the mall entrance.
Free buggy cars/shuttle bus would be really helpful to get there from Global village.
P.S.: in WhatsApp they adviced to use the next time VIP entrance of Global village as it's close to the Gate 8 of the...
Read moreSoon you’ll be able to rustle through the rushes with your shopping bags in hand at the new Cityland Mall, which is on track to open towards the end of the year.
Back in 2016 we told you about plans for the world’s first nature-inspired shopping mall in Dubai and we are happy to report that the wheels are well and truly in motion.
Construction of the mall is ticking along merrily and 60 percent of the project is already completed according to the developers, Cityland Group
Leasing for the mall is also going well, with 50 percent of retail spaces already spoken for – which is excellent news for the shopaholics among us.
Construction of the Carrefour hypermarket (which will be the largest in Dubai) is almost finished and will be handed over by the end of next month, while VOX Cinemas and kids’ indoor amusement park Fabyland are also looking to be open in the next six to eight weeks.
By the end of the second quarter of the year, the site will be open for the majority of the mall tenants to start fitting out the shops, with completion of the whole project expected in quarter four. The landscaping contract for Central Park botanical garden has been awarded to Miracle Garden Landscaping, the company behind the world class landscaped projects such as Dubai Miracle Garden and Dubai Butterfly Garden.
The 200,000sq ft green space will provide a unique sensory experience for shoppers and has been designed to accommodate 7,000 shoppers at a time in its vast expanse.
Fahimuddin Sharfuddin, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Cityland Group, said, “With consistent progress on both the construction and leasing side, we look forward to launching Cityland Mall to the public during the fourth quarter of this year and add a unique dimension in terms of retail to...
Read moreI had the opportunity to visit Cityland Mall, strategically located near Global Village. As I stepped into the mall, I was immediately struck by its sheer size and spaciousness. The ample parking facilities were a welcome relief, making it convenient for visitors to park their vehicles and explore the mall.
However, as I made my way through the mall, I couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment. Despite its massive size, the mall seemed eerily empty, with many shops still unoccupied. It was a shame to see such a vast space underutilized.
Despite this, I noticed that the mall still attracts a steady stream of visitors, particularly those seeking to shop at Carrefour supermarket or browse the luxury brand stores. These stores seem to be the main draw for visitors, and it's clear that they cater to a niche audience seeking high-end products.
One aspect of the mall that truly impressed me was the cleanliness and maintenance of the washrooms. It's often the small details like these that can make or break a visitor's experience, and I was pleased to see that Cityland Mall prioritizes hygiene and cleanliness.
The stunning garden located at its center. This beautiful oasis is a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the mall, featuring an impressive array of plants, birds, and intricately designed buildings. The garden is a photographer's paradise, with countless opportunities to capture...
