Dubai Desert Safari by High Motion — Local services in Dubai

Before I dive into the experience, some general comments about Dubai activities costs. For example, I paid 370 AED for the whole package. Since I bought directly from the website.

Later, I realized on the Instagram page they offer the same thing for 200 AED.

I am not used to such a pricing system, but let say Dubai is, in general, a place to rip off tourist in any possibility they get. 🙄

About today's trip:

Pick-up: Satar was right in front of the door, waiting. He is a sweet, nice guy, and we become friends immediately.

Starting tour in camp: they offer scarfs starting from 10 AED, so if you want protection from the sun, pick the cheapest ones.

Camel ride: Around 5 min ride. They also do the photo shots, which you need to pay for them each photo 50 AED. It is a bit pricy. I wouldn't recommend it.

Falcon photo: it was nice.

Quad ride: You have a chance to ride with nice bikes and enjoy scenery and take pictures.

Dune bashing: nice experience. You have time to take pictures and enjoy the ride. Cars are all new and comfortable.

Sand sliding: You have opportunities to try it a few times.

Sun set: the view is amazing.

Final destination: the only part of the journey which made me a bit disappointed. The food was okay, but when I compared it with the rest of the experience, which set high standards, it was mediocre.

Show and rest: they might consider using a better sound system.

I had the opportunity to talk to the High Motion owner, Mr. Suleiman. When he explained his goal, I was convinced High Motion was best in Dubai. He respects the time and money people spend for the experience and tries to make memories for his customers...

Amazing experience with this company. We were picked up from our apartment by the INCREDIBLE Aslam who drove us to the facility. We were given some water and a free head scarf. We then went straight out onto the quad bikes across the dunes - definitely worth paying extra for - what an experience! We then had a bit of a wait and we were able to sit and relax in the air con lounge or you could visit the camels. There was also opportunities to have pictures with the falcons. Then we went dune bashing - this was a crazy experience (not for those that get car sick) Aslam was amazing though and always completely relaxed and in control. This lasted a while but we loved it. We then had an opportunity to take some amazing sunset pictures - we managed to take some of the best pictures we’ve ever taken. After that, we could do camel rides and dune boarding which was so fun too! Once we had finished, we drove for a little while to a new venue where we had a huge BBQ with lots of traditional, local dishes - you could help yourself to this and soft drinks and there were lots of people offering optional extras. You also could get teas, coffees, henna tattoos and Shisha if you liked. During dinner, there were so many performances: a traditional Egyptian Hula dancer, a belly dancer and even an incredible fire breathing performance. What an event and what a day! I would recommend this to everyone - the value for money is ridiculous. Aslam looked after us the entire day and made sure we had an amazing time. He is a brilliant asset to the team and we would like to thank him for an amazing day! We will definitely be back to bring friends and...

Perfect day out! From booking until the end, the service was very professional. We received a WhatsApp message informing us of our drivers name (Khaled) and the pickup time. Khaled arrived directly on time and was very informative throughout the process, even advising us not to visit a nearby shop as they would overcharge and that if we needed a drink they had lots of ice cold water. Upon arrival, we bought traditional headscarves and there were lots to choose from at different price ranges. The staff then helped us put these on and took us to the camels, they helped us on and led us round on them taking pictures and videos on our phones the entire time. They then took us inside and helped get our helmets on and took us through all the safety and instructions of the quads, which were plain and simple to use. Everything about our trip through the dunes was unreal, our guide was really helpful and let us stop for water and more photos. The pictures and videos were absolutely amazing, even whilst we were riding the quads through the dunes, our guide took some beautiful shots of us. Altogether an amazing day out from start to finish, amazing staff, very helpful, lots of cold drinks provided, and best of all, amazing photos and videos. 10/10 would definitely recommend booking through...
