Easily one of the best food spots in Aberdeen, if not the best.
Spudz R Us in Cove is an absolute hidden gem. I’ve already been four times this week and I honestly can’t get enough. The tatties they serve are next level delicious, made fresh, full of flavour and seriously addictive.
I’ve tried the Coronation Chicken, Chinese Curry, and Salt & Pepper Spudz, every single one was spot on. You can tell real care goes into each box.
But if you go on a Sunday, you’re in for something special. Their Sunday menu is a weapon. I mean that in the best way, it’s the finest thing I’ve ever tried from them, and that’s saying a lot. Don’t miss it.
I was also lucky enough to try a secret menu item they’re still testing, and wow… when that gets released, it’s going to be a game changer.
On top of all that, the staff are genuinely some of the nicest people you’ll meet, warm, friendly, and they make you feel right at home the moment you walk in.
Whether you’re from Cove, Aberdeen or just visiting, you have to try Spudz R Us. Five stars all the way. Highly recommended...
Read moreI recently tried Spudz R Us and was blown away! We got the Scotsman and the Salt & Pepper Chicken, and both were fantastic. The baked tatties were perfectly cooked—large, fluffy, and soft. The Scotsman was a standout, loaded with delicious mince and proper skirlie (not mealie pudding). The Salt & Pepper Chicken was also a winner, with crispy chicken strips smothered in a Chinese-style hot honey sauce and cheese. Both were incredible. I'll definitely be back to try more...

The tatties themselves were not good, I’m sorry, undercooked on one side, it was hard to scrape them off the chewy skin, hard bits in them, butter hardly noticeable. Overall we found them quite disappointing for a...
