From the moment I called to ask a simple question about the menu, I was treated to exceptional service. The staff on the phone were so friendly and personable—they even called me back to clarify a detail about the dish so it could be cooked exactly how I wanted it. When I arrived to collect the order, they were just as welcoming and kind in person. The takeaway itself is clean and inviting.

The food was absolutely lovely. The poppadoms were crisp and not at all greasy—really well done. The naan bread was delicious too. I’m not usually a fan of naan (I usually prefer chapati), but this was so tasty and not stodgy at all. My husband had the tawa chicken and said it was full of flavour, and I had the grilled fish in a mild sauce, which I really enjoyed. Both dishes had beautifully balanced sauces—not greasy, and not overloaded with onions and peppers, which can often happen elsewhere.

We had our second takeaway from Baabzi Kings Heath on Saturday evening and it was as delicious as the first one. Quick delivery, piping hot and the chicken in each of our meals was perfect. Poppadoms, naan breads and rice were excellent too. I would like to apologise to the lovely gentlemen who delivered our food, for being very dramatic as he tried to hand over our food.....a frog had found its way into our house and was merrily jumping around!
