Domino's Pizza - Birmingham - Kingstanding — Local services in Birmingham

This review is exclusively around the new Lasagne and Carbonara offerings at Dominos.

Lasagna is my all time favourite dish and so I was very excited to see it pop up on the dominos menu. Unfortunately the pizza is lacking any resemblance of lasagne flavour. I was hoping the very vague "cheese sauce base" would be a rich bechemel sauce but instead tasted identical to the carbonara pizza base. The random sprinkling of toppings taste just like any other meat feast offering at dominos, if you put a gun to my head and made me guess the flavour I'd have just said it was a meateor. So disappointing.

The carbonara pizza was somewhat better based only on the fact I could taste carbonara sauce. I could actually of picked this one out of a lineup. However it wasn't pleasant to eat and I found myself wishing I didn't have any more of it left to eat. The bacon and mushroom topping is a but standard, I think having actual pancetta would have been better.

I'm always of the opinion that less is more when it comes to pizza, just pepperoni is as good as it gets really, so when you're making these extravagant flavour combo pizzas you have to get them right. They should at least taste like what they're mimicking, the cheeseburger pizza will still be my go to if I want one of these...

Standard Dominos fayre. They're all much a muchness to be honest. However the customer service sets this branch apart from the usual robotic performance that's usually given by the staff. In particular, a girl called Tiffany who appears to be some form of management was motivating the staff during my visit as well as interacting with all of the customers in store while they were waiting for their food. Her light hearted approach to us and other people in store was a breath of fresh air.

It was a busy time of day and I saw nearly everyone in the shop smiling. Which isn't something I'm used to when visiting Dominos.

This branch is further away than my local, but I'll be using this one...

Poor service rang up to collect 20 mins later get to the shop order not ready had to re do order due to poor quality had to wait another further 5/10 mins offered me garlic bread for compensation if I wanted garlic bread I would of ordered it when I had the kids food in car which I had collected first had to eat cold due to them not doing pizza correctly need to sack the person if they don’t know how to make a pizza absolute joke lady rude wasn’t bothered about me having to wait first man didn’t even tell me that it was re done will never...
