We found “the best pizza place ever” a couple of months ago after receiving a Pizza Point leaflet through our door in Broughton Astley. We’ve had outstanding food and service since… Until tonight!!!!
Ordered online at 18:30 and the estimated time of arrival was 60 minutes. An hour and 21 minutes later, I called them and asked where our order was and I was told “we’ll send it out now”. 30 minutes later… Still no order!! I rang again and was told “it’s definitely on its way now, it should literally be arriving any minute”. Five minutes later, it did… Pizza - stone cold that it’s inedible. Kebab meat - cold and disgusting. Chicken nuggets - taste like they’ve been reheated. Cheesy fries - ok… Upon ringing to explain/complain, I was told that “the chefs had to break for Ramadan, hence us being behind”. I explained that I fully understand this but suggested that maybe this should have been pointed out upon people ordering and that the 60 minute delivery time should be changed to a longer time frame… I explained we have spent £40 on food and that the two hour wait wasn’t good enough, after 2 whole minutes on hold, I was politely offered to be resent the hotter versions of the cold food I’d ordered but I couldn’t be confident that this would arrive in sufficient time when I’d originally planned to be eating at 19:30 and this conversation was at 20:30. No offer of a credit voucher or refund for the cold and inedible food that is spent a lot of money on. Sad to say that we won’t be ordering from Pizza Point again — the food and customer service has been a big fat 0 this evening. Extremely...
Read moreI ordered online at 18:30pm with an advised delivery time of approximately 19:15. Food still hadn't arrived by 19:45, so I called the restaurant for an update. The lady asked me to hold whilst she checked where my food was. She cam back after about 5 mins on hold, to tell me it was on its way and will be with me shortly. She then proceeded to give me a load of excuses why the food was late, instead of making an apology and taking some ownership of the situation. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for the delivery (which was apparently on the way). It is a 7 minute drive from Pizza point to my house, and when my order still hadn't arrived 20 minutes after being told it was on route, I called them back to cancel the order and issue a refund. I spoke to the same lady and she continued to make excuses rather than apologise. Really poor customer service. I hadn't ordered from here before and I definitely won't be ordering in the future. To management, please train your staff on how to deal with Customer complaints. And if you are short staffed etc, then account for it and reduce you capacity to take orders. Taking orders you cannot fulfill is terrible business practice. If you are so busy that there is a wait of nearly 2 hours for delivery, then stop taking orders until the backlog has cleared. Above all, be honest. Customers really do not appreciate...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting customer service! I was shouted at on the phone, spoken over and hung up on. I paid for my order online whilst out, so when my parter took the takeaway he wasn't aware it had been paid for. So the delivery man asked for another £16 which he took from my partner. So in total they had taken over £30 for a pizza and burger. When I rang up to explain the man on the phone was extremely rude and unapologetic. I am so outraged at the customer service I received. He was shouting at me telling me it was my fault I had not informed my partner it had been paid for, he then didn't allow me to speak and then hung up on me. As a customer that ordered from pizza point on a regular basis I will never be using there services again!!! They now expect us to pick up the £16 that we were robbed of! Absolute joke if...
