Boston Bowl — Local services in Boston

I work there in the battle warehouse and the Krazee klimb area, its not your usual job, i love it there because it isn't in an office in London!

Great staff, great customers, very noisy kids are part and parcel of the job, plus I get to shoot them with NERF bullets and to top it off I get paid (☆ not to be taken a complaint but national minimum I might add, hint hint boss!!!) for it! Win win!

☆Ok it's not a complaint but national minimum wage still is pretty low, so say we all, whom are probably earning less than you. But I am gratefully humble to everyone for putting up with me being from London ! Ok my rant is now over, you should have heard me complain about the office jobs I had which truly sucked!

Anyway, back to the review!!!

And not to mention, the climbing wall is exhausting, hint to parents, if you want a quiet evening at home, bring the family to Boston Bowl and get them into the real world of physically demanding stuff like climbing and running while you guys watch the balcony with a nice drink or you could join in !

There is so much room for improvement. I know improvements require money, but at least spend some on doing the venue up a little. Can see "if it aint broke..." mentality in the whole venue.

Cost of bowling, perfect for the venue. Food/drink very expensive. Facilities as a whole, reminds me of a greasy spoon cafe. Staff, friendly and helpful.

Couldnt see/offered any proper shoes to rent/borrow, which is a big part of the game. Shame really. Balls need some TLC. Chips, damages, and very few could be seen with the weights/sizing. I dont mind the 'pin on string' system, quicker resets most of the time. Pool cues need to be replaced, but guessing the venue goes through so many due to clientele abuse.

Great for kids birthday parties, or parties in general i guess. Its somewhere close and niche enough to visit on...

Manager polite and tried to do his best for everyone, Everytime I've attended we've had a good time with the activities, the biggest fault I've found is the staffing, very under staffed, and what staff there is,is awful they are young girls that dont know what they're doing half the time, they dont seem to cope under pressure of parties and busy times. I had to take over and do most of their jobs myself, sorting orders,handing out food,clearing tables,getting juice refilled for child's party, And then when it came to mopping up after an accident, thw young girl didn't even know where to start so clearly no health and safety training, she didn't even put a wet floor sign out.
