Revive Leisure Club & Spa — Local services in Cheltenham

Went for a spa day here for my sisters birthday. We enjoyed using the pool and spa area, which was lovely. After using the spa, we were disappointed that all the showers were cold and there was no shampoo or shower gel in the bottles they supply. The treatments we had were fairly basic, which was very disappointing. My sister needed a bigger robe and was told they were one size only and she would have to manage with it, she was quite upset by this. I encouraged her to ask again, the second time the therapist went and found a larger robe for her. The afternoon tea was okay but i think it's a bit standard, they could elevate it, like better qualty tea bags for example. Overall the spa area was very nice, the surroundings also very nice, the spa reception and hotel staff were friendly and helpful but a few bits left us feeling let down, hence the satisfactory score, such a shame as i was thinking of joining a gym in the area, but at £50+ per month I want a warm shower and a decent drink and a better than basic massage treatment! And where going and finding a robe in another size isn't too...

Have been a member for a few months but only one of the showers in the men’s changing room has ever had hot water and today the two cold showers were posted as “out of order”. This week, both men’s urinals have also been “ out of order” so only one cubicle toilet open for a full gym and swimming pool. No member of staff ever comes into the gym to help or advise - the equipment in the gym is good but the running of the place is below standard. I did mention all this to the person on the desk on leaving today but only got a shrug of the shoulders. I left unshowered and dashed...

Showers are intermittently hot and cold, shower gel and shampoo bottles empty (in all three showers), spa pool nearly always out of action plus the steam room nearly always not working properly or out of action! Always being told it is being fixed on Monday! Three weeks ago! My wife is a member and I was going to sign up but after the complimentary visits. Definitely not! I am not wasting my money. The gym however has been updated and is good for working out. Pity, as it is local to where we live and...
