Moosh Charlton Kings — Restaurant in Cheltenham

Our first visit to the Moosh in town (not Charlton Kings). We happened upon this delightful cafe yesterday and we were delighted to find such a friendly place in the town centre behind Specsavers on the High Street. It has a lovely 'vibe' about it. The menu looks quite varied with toasties and breakfast items available. There was another couple of people in there chatting and eating. Thankfully no-one glued to their laptop with a single cup of coffee ! We ordered Americanos, a deliciously moist and decent sized portion of carrot cake and a fresh croissant (we forgot to ask about butter or warming the croissant ). The coffee was a bit disappointing and not that memorable but the whole experience was a pleasant one and we heard all about the background of the development which was interesting. Nice people starting out on a new venture so definitely...

Fantastic independent coffee shop, great for catching up with friends for a coffee or Prosecco to celebrate! But equally fab for families and young children. Basket of toys and books available and changing friendly toilet. The owners really give the personal touch, nothing is too much trouble and it has a lovely relaxed feel. Cakes...

Moosh (and Moosh in MX) are two fabulous independent coffee shops. The one in the village is family friendly and MX has lovely views of the church. Both have in common friendly, lovely staff, delicious cake and coffee and an atmosphere that urges you to linger. Can't imagine CK...
