Our first visit to the Moosh in town (not Charlton Kings). We happened upon this delightful cafe yesterday and we were delighted to find such a friendly place in the town centre behind Specsavers on the High Street. It has a lovely 'vibe' about it. The menu looks quite varied with toasties and breakfast items available. There was another couple of people in there chatting and eating. Thankfully no-one glued to their laptop with a single cup of coffee ! We ordered Americanos, a deliciously moist and decent sized portion of carrot cake and a fresh croissant (we forgot to ask about butter or warming the croissant ). The coffee was a bit disappointing and not that memorable but the whole experience was a pleasant one and we heard all about the background of the development which was interesting.
