I enjoyed bowling here. The inside of the venue is very well decorated and lit, which makes it nice to visit. There are plenty of lanes (around 15) and the lanes have been refurbished with new displays and touchscreen input. The seats next to the lanes are comfortable and there are plenty of bowling balls to go around. The lanes are accessible as there is a ramp down to them as well as steps, and there are ramps for the bowling balls. There are a few slot machines and arcade games like air hockey. The café is well decorated and has plenty of seating, food and drink prices are decent and the breakfast and bowl deal on a Sunday looks good value. Clean toilets although the male toilets were undergoing refurbishment the last time I visited. Staff are friendly and you can pay by cash and card (including contactless which is a bonus) at the desk. Prices were quite high but reasonable for a bowling alley. There is plenty of parking outside the venue and it's easily accessible by bus. The venue could look better from the outside as it looks rather dated, but that is my...

Booked a party and whilst the bowling and food were great there was no host. We had to prompt to bring cake out - which they just handed me back the cake in the box, we had to put candles in and cut it up, even had to ask again for a knife and napkins. We had to ask for drinks to be brought through, and the ice creams. We even cleared the tables for them. It felt like a lot of hard work with no host, plan or direction. We were knackered!! The staff were pleasant but I’m sure we should’ve had more involvement from them. It was a massive shame. I’m awarding two because my child still enjoyed it, I just hope this makes them reconsider not hosting parties properly. Never had that at a venue before. If we’d have been warned there was a change then it’d be easier to accept, we were just left wondering where everything was and what was happening.

We would love to come back to bowl but the price is so extortionate compared to Hollywood Bowl at Sheffield which is where we’ll be...

Been a good few years since I've been here bowling 🎳 but had so much fun today celebrating my sons birthday 🥳 ( tried to get a birthday discount but failed - if you don't ask then you don't get right, was worth a try 🤣 ). I'm sure you can pay per game but, if there aren't too many of you wanting to play, we found it cheaper to hire the lane out for an hour and a half ( 3 of us managed to play 4 full games in this time with toilet breaks and trips to the bar 😉 ) We also arrived during the neon/disco 🎶 event too meaning we got to play to music with cool UV lighting 👍🏻!! Would advise checking the website for prices and to see what events are happening and when, might also be worth pre-booking - think we got lucky popping in when we did on the off chance as it got busy pretty quickly not long after. A bar 🥂🥤, a small arcade and public toilets 🚻 are all on site as are a few kiosks selling hot & cold food 🍟🍕🌭😋 All in all a great time was had by...

10 of us visited on a Monday evening after work for the special offer, an hour of bowling for £25 per lane. We had great fun. We had two lanes next to each other which was really nice, that way the whole team could play together. There is an excited atmosphere at chesterfield bowl. There is a bar and a cafe on site with air hockey table and other arcade games. The door on main entrance is in need of repair.
