This beach was, in a word, idyllic. There were enough people that the area didnât feel deserted, but it was empty enough to have a private stroll. The water was freezing, as is expected of January, but that didnât deter a few bathers. The rocky shore was full of interesting flotsam, including weathered sections of old brick wall, sea-smoothed shale, and a vast amount of sea-glass.
