This is a great place to eat if you have a limited budget, a good meal for £5 or £10 depending on whether lunch time or evening. This is where students practice their skills in hospitality. We had a great 3 courses for lunch with coffee and shortbread and a long drink for £15 all in for two. You need to book a table though. The service is fine, students are supervised. We also went for dinner and this was 4 courses with coffee or tea and chocolate. All for £16.50, a bargain too and lovely food, interesting recipes and you get to speak to the chefs as they want feedback. We went for Christmas dinner and enjoyed mulled wine, fruit and chocolate breads, duck and smoked salmon starters and striploin beef and cod dishes followed by an assortment of desserts and coffe and Christmas pies. We arrived and straight away ask to take our coats, which at that point I thought this maybe quite good our food was lush!! food was out quick, hot and very high quality presentation.
