Working observatory that has been operating for hundreds of years. Inside there is information about the Observatory and more generally about space travel and space. There are different exhibits including robots - they have life sized models of famous robots from film such as ironman, the Borg etc.

They have a theatre that has projections onto the ceilings that can be accessed with special tickets. This includes different shows aimed at different ages.

It's great for young children with a sensory room, a learning room and lots of...

Historically significant building not only in Armagh, but Ireland itself, the observatory has contributed to the world of science and astrophysics since its founding in 1789.

Fab place - went to the Dome Show which was so interesting. Plenty of interactive stuff to do for the kids, there was a room where you could also build a rocket. Nice walks outside with structures of the Solar System etc. There is also a cafe inside but we didn't stop to have anything so not sure of prices. We brought a picnic and had it outside, there are benches and picnic tables. Great place, would definitely go back. Staff were very friendly and...
