The building itself is impressive architecturally and has remained fundamentally the same since its founding, the area around the observatory which consists of the Armagh Planetarium and Astro Park are well worth the visit for all the family.

Fab place - went to the Dome Show which was so interesting. Plenty of interactive stuff to do for the kids, there was a room where you could also build a rocket. Nice walks outside with structures of the Solar System etc. There is also a cafe inside but we didn't stop to have anything so not sure of prices.
