ABUSIVE, RUDE, OVERPRICED, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!

Visited this shop today to buy some washing up liquid to clean my children's bikes following a bike ride as I knew I was running low at home. First time visiting the shop but was convenient on the route we were on, the prices were extremely high for name brands so I decided just to buy the cheapest 79p one rather than fairy and keep it just for cleaning.

I purchased the item popped it into the hood of my pram and left the shop. I had just got across the road and smelt Lemon I looked down and the lid had come off the bottle and leaked all over the pram my s23 ultra phone and was flowing from the sides. I crossed back over the road opened the door but stayed outside so to not get the liquid all over their floor and explained it was faulty and asked for It to be replaced, I didn't complain it had saturated my pram or phone I asked politely just to have a replacement. I was then met with abuse and rudeness. They stated "You left the shop so it's not our problem."

"People like you do this sort of thing all the time" I'm a white woman in my 30s well dressed with younger children, well dressed. So I can only assume this comment was made with RACIST or SEXIST intent. "If you have the money buy another then" "I'm not giving someone like you another one" the man said this and then got in his car without giving me a chance to speak.

I then entered the shop and took a less considerate approach and removed the bottle and the lid from the pram which then spilled onto their floor to show to the lady, the man then reentered the shop had a look and got me a replacement, I also asked them for an apology as it was clearly a faulty product and they were rude and insulted me without even hearing me out. They both apologised. However, it was done without sincerity.

I am appalled that these people are business owners in a customer focused business as their manner is horrendous.

Even my 4 year old son asked mummy why is that man being very rude?

Anyone thinking of going here please take your business to one of the more deserving local shops who will appreciate you...

Every time I have been to this shop they over charge and when I question them they are extremely rude, they have even done this to my daughter on her first self shop experience trying to over charge her by £4 and was very rude to her, this is dispicable behaviour. I would avoid this shop like the plague unless you don't care about filling their pockets at your expense. Also I have witnessed the owners doing drug deals out of this place...

The women in the shop is rude and the opening and closing times are fake advertising they never open that late, there’s no signs saying cctv cameras in the premises means breaking your rights. They over charge you and drinks are expensive It’s fricking stupid shop needs to get closed down and they charge u too use the cash machine. If it’s me I avoid that shop and tell everyone too not go there and some of the food is out of date and...
