Principal Escape Rooms — Local services in East Cambridgeshire

I had a Sunday morning session booked as a group of five and had a fantastic time completing both rooms.

Three of the five of the group were escape room novices, but Josh did such a great job introducing the rooms that everyone was able to enjoy themselves and get stuck in to finding clues.

There were enough puzzles of varying difficulty to keep a group of five occupied for plenty of time. Without giving away spoilers, there were a ton of interactive surprises and it's clear that a lot of care and thought has gone into the design of these.

Josh's enthusiasm and passion for the rooms helped make the experience as fun as it was, I absolutely recommend experiencing one...

Thanks to Principal Escape Rooms for an amazing escape room experience this afternoon in Ely! Took on the 'Mystery At The Museum' room as a couple, and had a fantastic time! Brilliant theming (room is beautiful, and totally on point for the concept, with a great soundscape as well!) and great puzzles. Some pretty unique puzzling elements too - it's always a treat as ER enthusiasts to see puzzles we haven't come across before! Claire and Josh were incredibly friendly and super welcoming. Really fairly priced too, and very centrally located (just a short walk from Ely High Street). Literally couldn't recommend this lovely escape room...

Fantastic escape rooms, with so much packed into a comparatively small space.

The room themes are brilliant, very well put together with great design elements and decor. Puzzles are designed very cleverly to cater for all abilities, and there is some brilliant use of tech in some of the puzzles. Clearly a lot of thought and planning goes into the theme, design, clues and puzzles making it very easy to get totally immersed in the escape.

The hosts are lovely, with a genuine passion for escape rooms, and this comes across in the quality of the rooms...
