River Hamble Country Park - Fenced Dog Walking area — Local services in Eastleigh

Firstly- car price per hour £2.50 quite a lot to walk in the woods, secondly in the barn paying only in cash- so you cant send your kids to buy them self a cake, and if you go for a walk and try to disconnect yourself from work for example (phone left home)- you can't enjoy the tea or cake in shop- you have to pay card. Then after the dog walk you go for a dog wash and pay £3 - again card only. And if you decide you don't have cash and will skip the tea, cake, dog wash. You will not leave car park - card only. So not friendly to families who watch their spending and using cash. Also, when you add up walk - maybe you need 2/3 hours+ Tea+cake+dog wash=around £19/20.00. Is it worth it? No. I think places like that are made for families who don't care about spending. But not accessible for poorer families. So the kids will strive in games in front of the x-box. Or if you are single- option- go to free woods, park on side of road, and after that go to restaurant for a meal= less then £20 and you are done for a day. I found out that manor farm has a private field for dogs so we called up and asked about how to book it. Chris was very rude on the phone and when we explained why we want to use the field and told chris what dogs we had (cane corso) and before we could even say anything chris said we don’t take anything under the XL bully characteristics which I found informed and in accurate as my dogs are not XL bullies. Surely the principle of booking a private field is to enable ALL DOGS to excercise with out harassment sent from other dogs???..
