This course gets 2 stars for having a great layout. Otherwise, it would be 1 went today as a group of 6 unfortunately 2 couldn't make it last minute we had ordered 4 buggies for the 2 original 4 balls but had to go out as 2 3 balls not sure why maybe to speed up play? Even though it was painfully slow anyway in front. After 3 of us teed off the guy from the pro shop walked out and asked if we could just wait and let this 2 ball nip out quickly why didn't they book an earlier tee time if they knew there was 4 balls going out? But the worst thing was the course and the price we were charged! I had played here years ago, and it hasn't gotten any better. Greens are still very slow compared to any other courses in the area and lots of damaged rough patches on some greens, there is terrible maintenance all over the course left over dead grass everywhere from the rough we had numerous balls lost just off the greens and fairways shocking and a lots of uneven poor tee boxes! We played a championship golf course 2 days ago for £24 through the golf now app which makes this look like a farmers field with flags on it and this cost us £45 each for golf and shared buggy so i presume £30-£35 for golf and rest for buggy ridiculous! It should be no more than £15 Won't be back much better...

We booked Woodham golf club for our Wedding Evening Reception, because its a lovely setting and local to us. But what made it even better was, the Girl who set this all up for us, she was called Wendy, have to admit she was very accommodating, she bent over backwards to ensure we had the best night ever, she arranged the seating plan, set up the tables lovely, even bought an adapter so we could share our photos on the TV. Nothing was too much trouble, she even arranged a room so my wife could change into her Wedding dress, and ensured that the dress was nice and straight before my wife made her entrance.she was not only professional. But we'll mannered. Polite and just a lovely Girl and perfect for the job. The night went exactly according to plan, everyone in that room enjoyed the whole evening. It was Brilliant Wendy,we can't thank you enough. We also need to thank her team behind the Bar. Young Girl who I don't know her name was also very nice. Polite and well mannerd along with Dan the Barman lovely lad. And the food was absolutely lovely, and plenty of it Well done to you all for making our night, something very special. We had a wedding reception here last Saturday evening to celebrate our wedding back in June. What a fantastic night we had! Wendy and her team set everything out for us just as we wanted. The tables were set lovely. The room and surroundings are lovely too. Wendy listened to what we wanted and made sure it was all pretty much spot on to our requests. We had nearly 70 guests. Wendy, Dan and the young girl (sorry didn't get her name) all worked so hard to ensure everyone including myself and Billy had a brilliant night. The buffet was amazing and food delicious, and Steve did a brilliant job of the disco, to the point where the dance floor was pretty full most of the evening.
