Chutney Jacks — Local services in Great Britain

We've been getting takeaway from here for a while and would have happily given it 4/5 until the last couple of deliveries. The penultimate one was OK if a little on the bland side but it wasn't unpleasant. The most recent one however was inedible unfortunately. We had Chicken Tikka Masala that was almost entirely just pureed tomatoes and no actual taste, a peshwari naan so stuffed with almond paste that the whole thing had turned into a big soggy mess, a King Prawn Shashlik that had tough prawns which smelled terrible (like wallpaper paste?!) and the rice was dry and crunchy.

The starters (bhai and pakora) were fine and my son ate his nuggets and chips but the rest was a real let down. We reported this to the restaurant and we were offered an initial £10 refund, later increased to £20 as they left us with no further route to resolve the disagreement over the quality of the food.

If the meal itself left a poor taste in the mouth the customer service afterwards did even worse. The representative we reported the poor meal to on Facebook was passive aggressive and highly accusatory in his tone and language with a high degree of passive aggressive behaviour. Small businesses rely on loyal customers to survive and we may have been willing to overlook the food in this instance as a one off bad experience but after the disrespectful tone of dealing with their representative we can safely say we won't be eating...

We ordered for the 1st time last night and all night have had a bad tummy. I normally get this from old rice. We did order a rice dish and 2 vegetarian dishes and naans. Being of Indian origin, this food is not authentic Indian in any way at all!! Found the paneer tasteless and nothing like what it should be. We also ordered garlic naan but could not taste any garlic on them. Totally rippling off locals who think they are getting quality Indian food, when it's nothing like good Indian food!! This owner seems to always bite back when you are unsatisfied, instead of being humble. I was expecting a nasty reply back, which I got, even though I have had intense cramps all night. Trust me it was not due to the spice levels as there was no flavour. I have been too plenty of tandoori restaurants and this is by far the worst. Please except customer reviews respectfully , that's what reviews are meant for!! I don't normally write reviews, especially if bad as everyone has different experiences, but when I get ill after a meal that i did not enjo, I believe a review...

We ordered for three, Saturday night for delivery, so the 85 minutes forecast was expected and pretty accurate. We have used this takeaway several times before, as the Indian restaurants in Buckingham are pretty samey, and not brilliant. The food was really not good.. Tough breads, pretty tasteless & bland dishes, the onion bhajees and chicken tikka masala were particularly poor. The lamb biryani was OK, and probably the best of all the food bought, although the veg curry accompaniment was bland, and had sweetcorn in it.. That's a first. As expat Brummies, we were brought up with fantastic, tasty and great value Asian food. We have still to find a consistent takeaway or restaurant in the area that gets anywhere close, even after 24 years down here. Disappointed, so I doubt we'll be...
