Had good reviews for this Chip shop before but tonight let me down .Phoned and asked for single fiah supper and GLUTEN FREE FISH GOUJONS OR BITES .Didnt receive that ended up with some kind of cake but didnt want to eat it with being Gluten Free as didnt know what it was .Wasnt a Fish cake as had cheese in it .It makes it worse when your order is wrong as You cant risk eating if as dont know if its Gluten free .And i know some people might think its trivial but its not when it can make you seriously ill eating something you shouldnt .And we cojld got back and get it replaced as was going out as was meant to be a quick tea

So all i ask is could you repeat the order back to people and then it could be rectified afore you come and pay and collect it .And someone ends up with half a tea .

I did get Gluten free as i did ask for it .But ive had gluten free chicken bites /Fish /and fish bites off you before .Its the fact didnt ask for a fishcake that i was getting at .And normally dont have a problem with my order .I was making a point in saying maybe if whoever takes the orders is to repeat it back to people afore they come collect and pay for it .As then mistakes wont be made .As i didnt k ow it was Gluten free as ive not had 1 of you before hence why i...

Went here for gluten free, I have to rate this place 11 out of 10. We had a selection of mostly everything gluten free. Fish, sausage, salt and pepper chicken, salt and pepper onion rings, gravy, curry and chips. The salt and pepper coating was very light and full of flavour, a mix between breadcrumbs and tempura. Sauce would have taken away from the flavour of the dish on its own it was delightful, if I hadn’t ordered so much food I would have ordered a second portion. The fish and sausage had a lovely light batter, you could have mistaken it for having gluten it was identical to the real deal if not better. There was not milk like coating between the batter and fish like I’ve had other places and it was more fish than batter which was great as other chip shops I’ve tried gluten free the batter is too thick and sickening. My gluten free experience was better than when I used to eat gluten because after I ate a large portion of food I didn’t feel bloated and sluggish. My stomach still felt light as if I’d just eaten a salad or something healthy rather than a stomach full of fried fast food. I’d highly recommend.
