Clachan Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

Was barred from here last Thursday becoz i asked for my half pint to be served in a slim jim glass. the barmaid served me a rum glass. then tried a wine glass.?!?!?! she was talking under her breath and was extremely rude …I then told her i could hear what she was saying & to politely keep her mouth shut. of which then her husband i’m assuming. violently grabbed my pint off me and told me im not being served. i seen this all happening. as the minute i walked in she was rude. i left to have a cigarette and felt i had to record on my way back in. so i’ve approached my lawyer as they can’t treat paying customers like this. i was polite and kind and under no circumstances did i deserve to be treated this way. I would have spent good money..i had just left a funeral and just wanted to sit and have a quiet drink with my wee cousin. Went to a friends 65th birthday,table was orderd in advance,but when we got there 6 guys supping their beers,felt terrible when she asked the guys to move,don't really know where they went to,as it was so busy,sadly I personally won't be back,as I have walking and balance difficulties and going to the bathroom was terrified I'd fall over,even with friends helping me,but atmosphere with our friends made...

Popped in here with my wife after a meal at lavita on a monday night. Had not been in for years and happy to report place is still a great wee pub. Great selection of beers and drinks on offer and even do cocktails now. Has a nice outdoor seating area plenty tvs insidebif sports on and all staff friendly. Will be back next time...
