Well where do I start with this nursery, such a wonderful place for children to be. From the minute you walk through the door your get a really warm welcome from the staff, nothing is every to much trouble for them.

They are really invested in each and every child from the first day they join the nursery. Children get a home visit before they starts nursery, so you get to know the team looking after your child better and in a more relaxed environment.

They provide wonderful opportunities for learning throughout your child’s nursery day that is all tailored to their individual needs- which is fantastic. They provide frequent updates about your child and also there are lots of parent events that happen in the nursery that makes sense you feel very much involved and part of your child’s learning.

The extra curricular activities of offer- Spanish, baby band, kixx, rugby and forest school are all wonderful additions.

We have had so many beautiful experiences with LGR Bishopthorpe, we think it is such a wonderful nursery - my children enjoy(ed) going here each day they came. The extra curriculars on offer are a real bonus you dont get many places, the special events they host for mothers day/grandparents day/general social days are what sets this nursery apart from any other. They allow you to get to know the nursery and staff outside of a quick drop off and collection when you need to be off to work. There is a dedicated nursery chef and assistant that cook healthy home made meals every day, not just sandwiches, nuggets and sugar packed puddings! Couldn't recomend...
