Visited today and was absolutely blown away by this little gem of a place. It genuinely restored my faith in humankind. The staff were incredibly welcoming—outstanding, in fact—and the food was equally impressive. Everything was of excellent quality, and the cakes were to die for.
We were especially touched by the level of customer service. When it came time to pay, we found that we couldn’t add a tip to the card payment. The lovely waitress simply said, “Don’t worry if you don’t have cash—we’re just happy to serve you.” Fortunately, my daughter had some cash on hand, so we were able to leave a tip. If not, I genuinely would have returned later just to make sure they got it—that’s how exceptional the service was.

Read moreI had to get a wheel fixed at the engineers next door and had an hour to kill, so went in here to do some work. I had the finest BLT with Avo and Fried Egg. It was absolutely delicious and well worth it. Plus the cortado was made just how I like it, unlike the other chain of coffee houses and even some other indies.
