I was introduced to LTR by a vip client of mine to book castles and estates in the UK and Ireland. From beginning to end LTR was phenomenal to work with. As a luxury travel agent for over 30+ years finding a company that is so detail driven and so knowledgable is very rare. The response time in organizing a complex 14 day itinerary in two countries with 15 people of ranging ages from 8-75 is no small task!! Making sure all had what they expected and wanted on a multi generational trip is an amazing accomplishment and LTR with Andrew Riddell who worked tirelessly with clients to plan all their activities ranging from foraging to lawn games, horseback riding, archery, pub visits, musicians snd dancers in estates along with cooking classes, ancestry tartans crafted by artisans in trade all while keeping little ones occupied with endless hours in free play on grounds of castles and estates was an amazing feat. Our recent visit to England together with some old and some new friends was made stress-free and truly unforgettable thanks to Andrew Lloyd and his very specific planning skills. Everything was thoughtfully curated and arranged for our group from beginning to end. We visited both public and private gardens and, in many cases, received personal tours by the owners, hearing their personal thoughts on the many aspects of planning, developing and maintaining their gardens. A visit to a private vineyard was somehow made possible for our small group allowing us to enjoy, in their state-of-the-art and architecturally significant buildings, some fine local wines and learn about their groundbreaking wine making technology. Our days and nights were filled with gourmet meals, entertainment and of course a few cocktails. Nothing was missed, including some downtime to rest as well as time for those with other interests to do their own thing. Many vacations are exausting. Where to eat/reservations, what are the important sights, let alone hearding a crowd(may as well be cats). Being inquisitive can ware you out. Then there is Andrew with Loyd and Townsend Rose Castles. Andrew has now led us(by the hand if needed) on four excersions. Arranging the details for relaxing in ancient European country houses. Some might think oh, dark, dank, worn out old castles. They do exist but this isn't what Andrew specializes in. These homes have been completely resurfaced. From moderen HVAC, plumbing and lighting to sumptuos furnishings and art. Don't get me started on the gardens. Oh my. Beautiful! From dining to recreation Andrew is always a step ahead making sure all is ready for our arrival. Transportation to must see locations, Andrew knows who to call. We sit back with a cocktail knowing there is no need to worry about "what's next" The arrangemants have been made. Just relax. It's hard to imagine a getaway without him.
