Last Saturday ordered some fish and chips which were delivered from the Maelfa Fish Bar. I have to say this was the best fish and chips I think I've ever eaten. The batter was just right, not too hard and crunchy and not soft or soggy, and way more fish than batter. And their chips are by far the best in Cardiff. This fish shop delivery service was an absolute God send during lockdown for our family, and continues to provide exceptional service. The food here is very nice.. I don't often go for the chippy option but after a long shift about a week ago, I asked my Daughter to pop in and pick up some food for me. Neither of us realised we couldn't pay by card and my Daughter didn't have cash on her. What impressed me is that without even knowing her, the staff were kind enough to let her leave with the food and bring the cash the following day (which I did).
