The centre is full of information and artifacts from when Marconi used Angrouse cliffs as his chosen location to send the first radio waves from Mullion to New Foundland, Canada in 1901. The field still shows the remnants of the foundations for the enormous ariels and the buildings erected for the engineers to carry out their work. Fascinating!
