Local chip shop, offering British (should that be Jewish as they were the ones who introduced the dish) fast food cuisine, but some Chinese dishes too. Nicely cooked chips, generous portions, which taste great with copious amounts of salt and vinegar, but better with curry sauce! The fish is beautifully cooked, and generous (two fillets are placed together) and the batter is light and crispy. It's the same batter they use for sweet and sour chicken balls, which are the best I've eaten, although the sauce is more sweet than sour. They also produce chicken curry, another lovely dish, for a low price but not sacrificing flavour or quality. The shop is clean, tidy and Covid safe, the gentlemen behind the counter understand English very well, and the food is quickly presented.
