I ordered our tea when our son came round to visit us with our two granddaughters instead of just having to spend time preparing a wholesome meal for the five of us.

I decided not to go to the chippy to collect it as it was extremely cold outside.

My husband and I both thought that it would be better to avoid the cold and wet weather conditions outside especially when we are not good on our legs due to us being disabled and we think that it was worth the cost of delivery as they charge for them to bring it to your door isn't worth the time to spend time on having to get wrapped up against the bad weather and then having to take the risk of having a fall isn't worth it when the cost for thek to deliver your order to your front door is very reasonable compared with the other eating establishments in the local area that would be able to manage to deliver to your house.

UNFORTUNATELY, we ended up feeling A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED by the service that was given as we didn't receive ALL the items that I had ordered because they failed to deliver the two cans of pop.

However, I have to add that when I phoned the local shop, on Cherry Tree Road, they were very quick to put things right and they not only sent the two missing items which they had left out of the order within a reasonable period from the phone call to inform them of the error, they were extremely kind and thoughtful in their kindness and we were given a free piece of school 🎂 cake when the driver came back a short while later .

I'm happy to recommend this chippy to you for the food that was prepared to order was the best of the best and the best tasting chips I have had in a long time. We didn't have much left over once we had finished our meal.

I placed an order tonight at about 6.40, got my confirmation email to say my order was placed for deliver. I noticed it gave delivery time as 60 mins but presumed would maybe get it within 30/40 mins. No it took 1 1/2 hours, yes 8.10 pm before my order was delivered. I rang the shop constantly to find out where the order was after an hour and no one answered the phone. I’ve been advised by an ex employee that it is company policy to ring customers if there was a long delay to apologise. I received nothing! When the food did eventually arrive I wasn’t impressed with the chips and there was no lettuce or mayo with the chicken burger. I had a family member visiting who had a 3 hour journey home and was just leaving as the food turned up. The delivery lady however was very apologetic, but it obviously wasn’t her fault. LONG time coming - this chippy is supposed to be one of the best in Blackpool…I couldn’t disagree more. The prices are SKY high and do NOT reflect in the quality of the food😂, everything I’ve ever received over the last 4 years from this place has been dry, over/under cooked and not worth the money I’m paying. Again I’ve just eaten a meal which has cost £10 (not my money, I wouldn’t waste my money here) and it is the WORST pie and chips I’ve probably ever had😂food is cold and the pie is literally inedible I can’t cut into it and it tastes like clay tbh. Don’t know how they manage to ruin a £2 pie and charge £4 nearly for it.
