Stan's Chinese Takeaway — Local services in Great Britain

We ordered from here as Curry Hut is closed on a Tuesday and we fancied a Chinese. Going by the reviews we were expecting something amazing. Or with some flavour at the very least!

Wouldn’t trust the reviews as they’re all saying the same thing, been going for years, best in the area etc. Couldn’t be further from the truth tbh. I’ve honestly never had a Chinese so bland in my entire life. First time I’ve ever had salt and chilli chicken that tastes like fresh air. The curry sauce is thick and pasty and also tastes of nothing. Was that bad I was questioning whether or not I had covid but I could taste my juice and the prawn crackers that tasted old and had that dirty mop smell damp taste to them it’s hard to explain.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but you can’t be running a Chinese and putting that sort of food out and charging people money for it. Definitely...

Best Chinese take away in Glasgow. We have been ordering food from this shop for more than 20 years & it is always delicious, wouldn't go elsewhere. Counter Staff always get your order right, they re-iterate your order back to you to ensure they get it right first time. Shop is always busy which speaks for itself & the staff are very polite & courteous despite the shop being so busy. Also, they have a buzzer system which they give to their customers to allow them to sit in their cars whilst their food is being prepared, again the management of this take-away is optimum as sought everything through as this stops too many folk hanging around the shop & beneficial for customers during the winter months.. My favourite Chinese carry out in the whole world! My family and I have been going for years and years and it never disappoints. They cater to your requirements and tastes and the curry sauce, breast of chicken curry or the king prawn curry is the best I’ve ever tried. Their salt and chilli chips are outstanding and the staff are lovely and accommodating. Would recommend it to anyone and I already can’t wait to order...
