Really good starters and main dishes in buffet + v good value, especially as u have the option to include 3 or 5 drinks. Other Indian buffets we have been to have nit been anywhere near as good as this one. Main dishes primarily chicken dishes but good mix between mild, medium + spicy. At least 3 of these I would happy order as a takeaway but the milder ones would be great for kids. The starters were excellent, again a lot of chicken but other meats available, along with a large salad. Could so easily fill up on just starters! I tried the french house red wine (it can be bit hit or miss with house wine) but this one was v good. The draught diet coke tasted just like can or bottled coke (in some places it can have a funny aftertaste). The was a large selection of deserts but we just had some ice cream. Only negative is that some fresh fruit would have been lovely. The did have grapes though. All in all we were very easy try surprised with how good the food was in buffet, we will definitely go back. If the buffet is the good the a la carte food must be fabulous! We will try that in...
Read moreI don't want to sound like mad men, but even tho it's Indian cousine you have more to pick and choose in munchy box rather at the buffet, the area where it's located looks unfriendly don't recommend going at night. The place needs some renewal,at least new chairs for the tables that would be great, and please make the cakes more accesable to people because I swear I a saw a grandpa falling on his knees to reach for cakes and cheesecakes. I recognised the cheesecakes they were most likely bought from Iceland. Most of the food tasted like unfrozen Iceland stuff but the garlic naan bread was good tho. I wouldn't go back there myself. It had cost me £25 for two people which was very much for chicken tikka and cheesecakes from Iceland, but if your starving and want some cheap food for one person than probably it's a "fine" place to come and have a lunch. Although I had a quick chat with a costumer that was there before and she said she likes the place. Personally I wouldn't go there and don't recommend to a person who wants an acc good food .
Too expensive for this...
Read moreExcellent food and service. Consistently good meals and generous portions. Fish pakora is ‘melt in the mouth’ and vegetarian curries are really tasty. Chef uses quality ingredients and does not cut corners using cheap alternatives. Chef came from the top level of a very well known and revered Scottish Indian Restaurant so you can be sure of his provenance and skill. Owners very happy to assist and make you want to come back again and again. This really is a good restaurant and really serves wonderfully fresh and quality food. If it wasn’t I’d honestly tell you. I have nothing to lose either way.
Please remember to be kind and honest in your reviews, to each other but also to the establishments. Give them the opportunity to fix things that don’t meet your expectations, then.. if still bad... by all means review down but remember the impact and...
