Teesdale Leisure Centre — Local services in Great Britain

I went to go for a fun session, and the lady and the front desk told me that with a thrive card I could get into all the fun sessions for free with it. However the next time I came (5 days later) she said I had to pay £3.50 just to get in, then when I showed her my thrive card she said “no, pay with money only for fun sessions”. So then I agreed to pay the money this time because I thought that I had to pay for the big inflatable obstacle course. But then when I came back on the Sunday for the fun sessions without the inflatable obstacle course this time they said I still had to pay, when the lady who was at the front desk the previous day I was there when I had to pay said that Sunday fun sessions was the only time I could use my thrive card to get in. However, I tried using my thrive card on the Sunday and they still said that it was £3.50 to get in. Keep in mind that it’s the same price with and without the inflatable obstacle course! So, the lady was false advertising! I don’t recommend going to the fun sessions if you’re expecting not to pay!! For anyone wondering what the lady who was false advertising looked like, She is about 5’5 feet tall, skinny like a pepperoni and black curly hair! She also looks about 60-65 years old!! Visiting the area and my daughter was very excited to go swimming. Booked onto the fun session at 3pm on Thursday 25th august but unfortunately one female lifeguard was extremely rude and shouted at my 6 year old daughter and my partner/her dad. My husband and I are retired and like to take regular exercise, even when away from home. We attended the leisure centre recently and were provided with 3 day concession passes. The staff were so kind and organised , showing us around and completing the paper work immediately.
