From the moment I entered this shop, after an almost 6 hour drive, I knew that it was a great place. I love finding and supporting independent shops because the service is personal, it's a small setup and it is far better than supporting a big multinational in every way. The staff here are lovely, very down to earth and clearly know what they are selling (a quality often missing nowadays). I was able to pick from their dram wall a few drams to purchase a dram of to take away (I was driving), which is excellent as it lets you try new whiskies to you without committing to a whole bottle - they have Springbank on here too (yet to try it). I also purchased a few miniatures. If I didn't spend so much at Glenallachie nearby I'd have purchased more here. Prices are very keen. I'll definitely be using this shop again, both online and in person. Loads of parking nearby on the street make this shop very accessible. We missed out our tasting session ad Aberlour. Afterwards we walked by and told the story. He let us sit down in his shop, opened some bottles and gave us the BEST whisky experience, just because his passion for whisky told him to help two young man, missing out a part of there first whisky trip!
