Veggie Master Derby — Local services in Great Britain

Made an order today for delivery. Their own website kept saying waiting for store to confirm. 1 hour later still no update when order number was given and money was taken. Phoned the store to ask for an update. The lady on the phone said she hasn’t received any order, she said to order through uber eats. I told her the money has already been taken so can I get a refund, she said I’m not sure how to do that, I’m new here. I asked if there is anyone working there who knows how to process it. Then she said again that she is new there and doesn’t know. I phoned the Birmingham branch to ask if they knew the process to get a refund. The lady on the phone there called the Derby branch and spoke to the same lady and then took my order number and phone number. Never phoned back!

Basically the customer service at veggie master is shocking, communication is not upto standard, their website has glitches, not sure how a business like this is upto trading standards. Even the hygiene rating is 3 out of 5 so it’s just satisfactory. Company is doing the bare minimum to pass standards. There are plenty of veggie/vegan food places so I definitely do not...

This place is just fantastic. No, it really, really is. I ordered a large order for the three of us tonight, choosing a variety of their dishes to sample for about £30. I’m flexi/veggie (working to being totally meat-free) and love what this chain is trying to do. It’s only the second day of operation so I was expecting teething issues but the order - done via the Just Eat app - was right on time. The food, though.. it was simply amazing: fresh, spicy, delicious. And no meat. Anywhere. Hard to say what the best element was but the chicken burger was very very good. Portion sizes are decent if not huge. Packaging and overall presentation could be improved upon. That said, I can’t wait to order again once it settles down - understandably the place is causing quite a stir being the first of its kind in the city, lockdown etc. - and I think I’ll probably go for a couple of their pizzas next time. Definitely give this one a go. I’ll be back...

Review Updated: Unbelievably RUDE and UNHELPFUL staff. Order was due at 7,15. 7,45 and it still has not left the shop. Called to cancel as its now too late for us (order is currently due an hour late) and they have refused. "Not our problem, your problem". Atrocious service.

Review Updated: We ordered here for the first time in a long while (they changed their delivery area). We used to order far too much from this place. Cannot believe what a fall from grace tonight was. The portion was TINY. Still tasty (maybe not quite as much as before but still good), but the size of portion!? What has happened? Will not be back in a hurry at all. So so disappointed after being so excited we could get a delivery again.

From 3 years earlier... Where have you been?! I never realised what I was missing in my life until we moved area and could start ordering from here.
