The last week of the summer holidays we decided to book a stay at Haven Seashore Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth. We had upgraded to a Seaview cabin which has 3 rooms that can sleep 6, as mother in law was in tow with 2 kids. This cabin was perfect, had washing machine, dishwasher and all other amenities. Shower was a bit weak, but that wasn’t a big problem. The selection of food outlets consisted of Burger King, Papa John’s, a Nisa convenience store, which sells everything and 2 restaurants. We did mainly self catering, so can’t give a review of the food. But the restaurant looked inviting enough. The kids entertainment was fantastic and got the kids fully involved. The bar was well stocked with normal alcohol prices. All the interactions with staff was fantastic! They are all friendly and go out of their way to help. The swimming pool is great! With kiddies pool, adult pool and fantastic slides. All will enjoy! All in all it was an enjoyable stay. Would I book...
Read moreWe had a lovely holiday at Seashore. We only booked a saver caravan but it was more than enough for our needs.
Pros: Lots to do & everything close enough by. Our children loved the swimming pool, bungee jumpers, pottery painting & bug hunt activities.
The beach is a few minutes away - lovely & quiet with lots of sandcastle building opportunities.
The evening entertainment was good & our children enjoyed it.
Nice selection of daytime activities to suit different age ranges.
Cons: Evening entertainment gets extremely busy & people queuing from 4pm to get a table near the front, leading to a bit of a mad rush to try find seats.
Drinks in bar were quite pricy (as seems to be standard across this type of facility).
The ordering app did not work for the first night of our visit leading to very long queues at the bar.
Overall though we had a great stay & have booked again for next...
Read moreNice clean friendly site. The security team are very welcoming and jolly, when you drive in and out. Good facilities, split into 2 areas. Lots for children of all ages to do. Very close to the beach. A land train and a bus take you to Great Yarmouth every 15 mins. Its worth going on the clipper bus as its £6.80 for 2 adults and 2 children, you can use it unlimited times during the day. Usual Nisa shop on site, Perfect for essentials but pricey. Parking outside caravans is limited in some spots. Staff friendly in the bars+general areas. A lovely Mon to Fri stay, only dampened a bit by the weather. Beautiful...
