Tom catered a specialist birthday meal for us and the first thing to say was that the food was all wonderful and scrummy. The experience doesn't stop there though and from the initial enquiry, through to menu choices, pre event planning and the day itself it was all 5 star. Tom and Jen seamlessly prepped the food, arranged the table, cooked and served up a storm. They were so professional and friendly you could just sit back and relax in the company of your friends and family; it was almost like they just weren't there. We were still chatting and supping wine when it was time for them to leave but Tom was very happy to come back and get the remainder of their glasses etc the next day. It is also worth pointing out that the kitchen was left spotless. From someone who wondered if a private dining experience was something other people had, I couldn't have been more delighted to be wrong. If you are in two minds about a private dining experience (with Tom) then don't hesitate and just go for it. I know who I will be turning to for when I want that something a little special. Tom@HonestCook was recommended to me as a possible caterer when I hired the venue for my sister's hen do. Tom was amazing through the whole booking process, helping with deciding the tablescape, supplying all the extras we wanted, providing an almost endless list of menu options to choose from, and catering to any dietaries. He honestly went above and beyond, and made planning the hen do so much easier! We went for the 3-course option, which included the waiting staff, as well as the table linen, cutlery, plates and glasses, each of which we were able to choose ourselves to create the look we wanted. Tom and his team were just fantastic. They were all so friendly and extremely attentive. It made for an extra special day! The table was stunning, while the food was absolutely delicious and exquisitely presented. Everyone was left extremely impressed and having had the best day ever! Tom and his team catered a special reunion dinner party for us. From the initial call to discuss through to the final mouthful of exquisite food, the whole experience was extremely professional. We were able to choose from an extensive list of menu options. We had delicious warm Canapes which Tom’s team served with our own champagne. We then sat down to an amazing 3 course meal all served with our own wines. All the table linens and glassware etc were supplied by Tom and he even produced a special personalised menu which is a wonderful keepsake of our special occasion. The whole evening far exceeded our expectations and all our guests were so impressed by the whole private chef catered dining experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Tom...
