This was our first time visiting Fairhill Shopping Centre in Ballymena, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The centre itself is lovely — very clean, modern, and fresh inside. Once we got in, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the selection of shops. Access to the car park was easy, and we were a bit concerned about height restrictions as we were in a van, but thankfully it wasn't an issue.
However, our biggest frustration was trying to find the actual entrance to the shopping centre from the car park. The signage is very poor and unclear, especially for first-time visitors. We went up and down several levels, through doors that led nowhere, and followed a sign to “shops” only to end up on another parking level. If we hadn’t followed other shoppers, we honestly might still be wandering around trying to find the way in. This could easily be improved with clearer, more frequent signs — especially for those unfamiliar with the layout. The confusing car park really lets down what is otherwise a great shopping...
