I like Tesco for getting a few bits how many people say that and buy more than we went for .l tried the scanner and it was quick you scan your Clubcard under the monitor type yes if you want to scan and a handset lights up for you scan your items as you go along when finished either go to checkout or self service scan the barcode on top of the pay monitor and it should show you your prices then you pay as usual .If you trying it for the 1st time you have to type in your postcode after scanning your Clubcard.The place is clean and tidy coffee shop is nice for a fry and a cuppa...
