ALDI — Local services in Isle of Wight

My mother in law and I thought we would try Aldi because they had so many good reviews from people. Well its safe to say that we will NOT be returning. The level of customer service in this store is disgusting. As we were packing our goods away, the cashier who was on the till behind ours , (not even serving us!!!) began shouting and implying we had not paid for 1/2 dozen eggs, when in fact they had been already put through the scanner. The cashier then proceeded to single us out and discuss us in a very rude and disrespectful manner to other customers, which was not only humiliating but then invited other customers to begin to also attack us for no reason. We then proceeded to call the manager down who did not seem to care that his employee was attacking his customers!!!! Disgusting service...

I went for my usual weekly shop at Aldi store in Cowes, Isle of Wight, 18/03/22 at 17.20. The lady that served me at the tills was unfortunately extremely rude to myself and my partner. During this covid pandemic, my weekly shop is annoyingly my only outing I have during the week apart from me working every hour. I am always looking forward to going to my weekly shop but this particular lady was very impatient and was scanning the items very fast (as usual) to which my food was piled up and nearly fell off the till, but still would not allow my partner to help me out, twice! The lady could see I was getting stressed and flustered but continued to pile up my shopping on the till as fast as she could. This is our first time shopping at Aldi and also using the click and collect. Everything went well, we've saved money and will use the service again. One minor observation, we ended up having to go into the store to ask where we collect the click and collect from, the marked bays were not obvious, could there be a sign at the entrance to the car park, and/or a text telling new customers how it works please. The lady on the checkout was very helpful in explaining. There were strangely, click and collect signs on each checkout but the lady on the checkout couldn't help, but sent me out to text the click and collect number.
