Stopped here on way back from London to Scotland (fly rod always packed) for a wee 4 hours C&R, amazing wee fishery, good hard fishing fish and lovely surroundings, when you drive up it has the feel of country pond and looks like may be hard to get a cast without getting hooked up on trees however seems that all pegs are well designed with plenty back cast room.

What a beautiful idyllic fishery and Ben the owner is such a pleasant bloke, very very knowledgeable and in such a stunning location, I didn't catch a thing but the experience was next to nothing, I would rate this place 10 +++, I can't wait to go again, my mate who I went fishing there caught a lovely brownie,

Not a very good experience at all... Must of been 15 anglers and nobody caught anything... When I turned up nobody was available to let me pay... After waiting for 20 mins another angler told me just to fish and pay later...after fishing and drawing a blank i returned to office to pay and was attacked by a dog while owner watched and responded by telling me she was sorry but it was her in laws dog and nothing to do with her... She still took full payment after this and I left feeling sorry for myself...i won't return again and they're lucky I'm a dog lover and won't call the police about the dog. This is the first bad review iv ever left and I'm utterly disgusted by...

Have just enjoyed yet another superb day of fishing.Plenty of fish rising and caught three quality rainbows over a couple of hours.I have fished regularly at Bank House for the last six years and cannot speak highly enough of this well stocked fishery and the owners and staff who are always so friendly and welcoming.Plenty of good fishing spots including the island. There is a tackle shop and hut with cooking facilities which is extremely useful especially on a winters day!! Have caught plenty of fish over the years and occasionally 'blanked ' but never ever been...

Very hard day today due to weather conditions. Gang of 4 caught 8 fish between us mainly on Fabs and buzzer. Best fish was about 3lbs which included a tag on the spartic Trout winning a bottle of champagne. We didn't know if to take the tag out or leave it inside the fish so we just took a photo of it. The owner kindly gave us the bottle of champagne as we didn't know any different. If your visiting in future and catch a tagged fish, take the tag out and take it to the porch at the end. Lovely fishery with good prices and great owner. Will visit again when weather...
