Mermaid Fish Bar — Local services in Leeds

Been to this fish and chip shop today a guy in the shop said to the woman have you been to the carnival she said no its not for her ,she said that she never really fuss for it caz she don't like caribbean food she don't like rice she don't like goat she don't like peas the man said have you try it tho she reply no I just know I don't like it my wife turn to me and said this woman is horrible I turn to my wife and said each to their own she like what she like,,

But what get me is when she saw a black woman past and she turn to the guy and said I bet she went this woman is a racist the shop was quiet and tense..couldn't wait to get out of there I will never...

Just want to say this, it's not an argument etc its a case or respecting each others decision, ive been in to the Heathfield few days ago delivering something and was told that it's down to each person if you want to wear a mask etc or not, just been in to mermaids the woman who seems on a power trip said we have to wear a mask, squirt some gel witch we found odd so we had to wear a mask then use the gel and have our temperature taken then download the app which we said no to then she said come and sit and order and that it's down to the owners i seriously thought they was/are breaking the law ??? Went a few weeks ago .. They had no chips. Went today at 7pm (Friday) and they were out of everything other than fish. I was told as i walked in, "I wouldn't bother looking at the board duck; only got fish now" in a particularly rude fashion!!!

On a Friday at tea-time you would expect a Fish & Chip shop to prepare for a rush and order enough food! Had to walk out empty handed both times..
