Went for my sonās birthday he loved every second of it bar the queues, which were horrendous. an hour or two wait for 45 seconds on the ride. Yeah, Iām that sad that a timed how long the ride took! Seeing as I was pregnant at the time, I was left waiting in the queues while my son and his grandparents walked about, so they could enjoy the day as opposed to just stood about wasting constantly. My parents would take to walking around with my son one of them in a few for a ride and me also in line for another ride. This seems like necessity if you want to get on it more than a couple of rides. Children have no patience at the best of times. Let alone when they queueing to ride Thomas the Tank Engine! And his coworkers, of course! My advice to anyone planning a visit, make sure you take a few people with you, purely to do the queues for you that way you can avoid disappointment from the little Thomas lovers of the world! But yeah, other than that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe came for the half term birthday bash on my partners birthday. All the staff wished him happy birthday and Sir Topham hat and Dusty sang him happy birthday too which was a fantastic addition to our family day out. Rides were around 15 minutes wait for most. The cupcake decorating was a brilliant touch and the gent in there even gave Daddy a cake for his birthday. We felt very special all day! Also Paul, Sir Topham hat and the rest of the entertainment team are absolutely fantastic! We love all the shows, we always make sure we see them no matter how busy the park is. The blue birthday bag was well worth the money too! Ā£3.99 and we got around 40 sweets and the cupcake (also loaded with sweets). The event as a whole smashed it out the park! There was that much to do that we didnāt even manage the zoo or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat was supposed to be a dream day for our toddler turned into a day of stupid rules and long queues. We queued for 45 minutes to turn my son away for being 1mm under height. Even though he was allowed on all other rides with the same height requirements. Some of the rules on the rides are absolutely absurd. Adults are not allowed on the Tractors with their kids, but will allow a 2-year-old on their own who has no clue how to drive. The ride - staff also are incredibly slow. Queue times could be halved if the staff actually woke up. Allowing half full rides to go around with absolutely zero urgency as parents queue with screaming kids. Use your heads, fill the rides, pick...
