Such a let-down!!,But,only cause the weather was so lousy!!.....We still had a great time,on my 'birthday-treat',with all the activities...felt sorry for the organisers,stall-holders etc...,as it was a proper 'wash-out'!!....Well done to everyone, for just getting on with things, and making the most of it!!My daughter had fun,and thats what mattered!!Things are tough business-wise,I get it,but, the only downer, was the food standards+prices!OUCH!!...Take a packed lunch, next time!!(£8 for a poor hotdog/burger?,@£5 for a small portion of chips?...thats when they hadnt 'run-out',eh??No hot-air-balloons/and,an improvised+very poor, airplane display...,obviously,the fireworks were poop!,but at least there was a rainbow!!😆Open 12-10...but,left at 5!!😕Shame,really?!!Slightly disappointing, when you queue for 20mins,in the pouring rain, just for chips...then get told, sorry!,ran out of chips???😪Saw lots of happy kids, thats the main thing!!,and the toilets were well tended, mostly,so, great!!Maybe, next year, the weather will be kinder, but I certainly wont be tolerating the food prices!!?😬(4 tiny donuts,1 crepe, with banana+nutella, and a tiny tub of candy floss....£18?!!!)....And,why should any catering business, run out of chips?FFS?...Wish them well for next year!!Just plan-ahead,is my advice, for families!!Dont be put off,its a good day out!!!The dogs, monster trucks, motor cycle-display,and the birds of prey, still went ahead!!...JUST!!(CANNOT HELP THE...

Went here to attend Balloon And Action Extravaganza. There was no balloon extravaganza, despite them posting on social media that morning that conditions were good, yeah good for them make money out of us! We'd walked around it all in about 25 minutes, then watched some of the displays, some ok, some less ok! Queued for an hour for some expensive ice creams, but we had nothing else to do! Will say the evening was better, so glad we stayed for that. Met friends there which was just as well as helped keep the kids going, as they just messed about, otherwise I'm sure it would have been "can we go now"!!! Won't bother going again, and seen lots of unhappy comments over social media, who, like us, felt they were missold tickets on the hype of seeing lots of hot air balloons take to the skies, and not one took off. This has nothing to do with the showground itself, which is a large place, and can accommodate any sized...

We came here for the Summer XL labyrinth challenge. Carpark attendants helpful, parking was free and only a short walk to the event. Attraction tokens were £1 each and each attraction was between 2 and 4 tokens except go karts which were 6. Plenty of food and drink carts and a few independent sellers with toys, clothes, jewellery etc. The wait for the labyrinth challenge was quite long despite having a booked slot and had to wait between each lap as so many people. There was a sign saying No glasses and no exceptions so my daughter was only able yo complete one lap as she can't see without them but the manager was helpful and resolved the issue for us. If you have someone in your family that really needs glasses then this isn't for them as even the smaller attractions said no glasses so she couldn't enjoy those either. My 13yr old really enjoyed it and we looked round the craft fair too so still had a...

This is one of the best ag shows in the south. I went on the Friday to avoid engineering work and the worse of the storms. Friday is traditionally the least busy day of the show, plenty of school groups there etc. A lot was going on. Food area was better than previous years. Craft and stall areas very good as well. Army area was getting a lot of positive attention. The pigs, as always, were the stars of the show.
