A hidden culinary gem, set slap bang in the middle of a working class north east community. The speedy delivery service is excelled only by the quality of food they dispense. Been ordering from this place for around 3-4 years now and I'm proud to say such an establishment exists on my doorstep. I've literally ran out of superlatives to throw at these masters of far eastern nosh! Their BBQ sauce is (imo) the best I've ever tasted, a bold statement to be sure, but nevertheless a fact! I last reviewed bamboo gardens 5 months ago. I can honestly say it’s just as good now if not better. Wow !!! Started off with chicken & sweetcorn soup, loads of flavour. Then for ordering over £30 we got free chicken wings which we had in Cantonese sauce. Very nice indeed. My daughter and her boyfriend had the chicken ball combo box with gravy which is huge and cost £6,70. Me & my husband had the salt and pepper combo box with curry which was delish and also tried the pork in plum sauce for the 1st time and all you could hear was the sounds of mmmm!!! We ordered pork satay with fried rice and chicken chow mein after recommendations from friends. Food arrived within 25 minutes of telephone call so we were surprised that it wasn't particularly hot.
