Not what it used to be several years ago. Food (only) OK, yet it used to be consistently exemplary. In their freshness of ingredients, how thinly sliced their peppers were, how luxurious their sarnie fillers were (coro.chick. etc), their sweet selection of cakes etc. Decent enough yet on the fence currently as to if worth it anymore for the short ish journey from work to visit again. Deffo marks against, for having zero pease pudding; lack-lustre jalapeños (no spice, heat or any oomph at all); & the least savoury cheese savoury I've ever ever had, with no onion or any kind of veg in, merely noticeably cheap (coloured, mild) cheese, naff mayo and...

What an awesome little deli. We were on our hike and desperate for something to hold us over for a while. We had a Cornish Pasty each...they were delicious and exactly what we needed. The woman serving us also knew the hike we were on and gave us encouragement to get to the end!!! It was a memorable hike...and this deli will always be a part of that...
