Little Connies Kitchen — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

Ordered here as I was picking up my partner, from the area, before we headed off into work. Time was key for us on this day. We had breakfast sandwiches in mind but noticed hot roast of the day sandwich's on main menu - was 11am so inquired about availability of main menu and we were told 'Everything is on but we will need about 10 minuets for the hot sandwiches' we ordered 2 it was chicken on this day. 45 minuets later! we were given our food - to go obviously as we had appointments which we had now missed &/or late for. Just say no it's not ready, we were still going to order something. Then the price £8.50! for a small bap with dry chicken, I mean small, a handful of chips and thick instant gravy, £8.50. Over priced especially for the area. We asked for a small amount of stuffing - I would hate to see your normal amount. We both felt like you choose money over customer service. You choose a £20 order and poor customer service over a £10 order and happy satisfied customers. You were not busy simply the food was not ready. I was waiting in the cafe for 15 minutes for 1 bacon and egg bap and everything is microwaved and the bacon is barely even cooked.

EDIT TO RESPOND: You were not busy, 2 tables out of the whole place were taken and they had mostly been served before I walked in. One of which you served incorrectly, bringing over his hash brown that was given to someone else a good 5 minutes after he had started. Even if it were super busy, which it wasn't, there's still no excuse for serving bacon like that. And a microwave is supposed to make...

The full English was one bacon, hash brown, black pudding, egg, sausage, toast and some chopped tinned tomatoes and tasted nice and cost £6.00. Sadly it took thirty minutes to turn up.
