Just had jumbo cod n chips delivered, NOT HAPPY AT ALL! supposed to be boneless fillets, tail was full of them, the batter was blown up which made it look a nice size. when i opened the batter the fillet was very thin and it was haddock, it looked bigger with the batter and underneath was a separate lump of batter pushing the middle higher. Not nice at all, i complained and owner said it is cod my friend. No it wasn't! yes it is, i have 10 boxes in the back. FROZEN FISH THEN, that's not good, it doesn't suggest a golden chippie to me and NEVER USE AGAIN ! if i hadn't eaten any of it and taken it back to the shop it could be replaced. If i'd been able to get to the shop, i wouldn't have had it delivered. Con artist, but i did give it 1* for delivery. Use somewhere else if you want fresh fish, i'm sure i will! Used to like there food but not now and i will not be a returning customer. I walked in placed my order sausage and chips twice with a curry. The staff thought more of there online orders than a customer in the shop so i had to wait till there dilivery was finished. Then my order was finally done in a hurry. We came to order end of term treats for the staff. We came in last minute on a Friday lunchtime and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Triple checked our order.
